Fly Me Away

A long
time ago you
abandoned
me
and I haven't been the same

Yeah maybe I
was shy to begin with
but you made it
worse
with your "shhs" and "Shut your trap"
maybe not always spoken
but definitely implied
a big fat NOT WELCOME sign
that I began
to see everywhere
I looked.
Sad.
The years went by
as I looked for a Family
that was perfect-I can't stand dysfunction.
No such luck
